3-2-1 REFLECTION

Life during World War 2 was torture, suffering and pain. I have learnt that we are all lucky that we do not have to suffer from the hardship that the people in the WW 2 had gone through. I have learnt that we must be greatful that our presidents from all over the world are in peace. I have learnt that we are all lucky that everyone was treated equally regardless of their race and religion.

I appreciate that I do not have to feel the suffering and torture from the WW 2. I am greatful that I have enough food to eat and money to buy things that I want.

I want to learn more about how the people coped with the suffering they had felt during the World War 2.

HISTORY LESSON: Life During the Japanese Occupation.

During the Japanese occupation, some people were placed in prison where everyone had to behave like an ordinary person. They had to shower together with rags and very little water. All prisoners were treated the same regardless of race or class. They have to learn to cherish all the things that they had and use it in a proper way. The prisoners had to be fast in all undertakings. Old or sick people passed away due to infection as the soldiers do not want to cure them. Girls or sisters was forced into prostitution. They had no choice but to do what was instructed or they will suffer.

NEWS GOOGLE! SOUTH EAST ASIA!

Thailand- On Wednesday and another 31 were wounded when a grenade was thrown at them in front of their station, police said.
Two people riding on a motorcycle threw an M67 grenade at the officers shortly after they had assembled to observe the national anthem at their station in Pattani province.

Police said one died on the way to hospital and another three were seriously wounded.
More than 3,900 people, both Buddhists and Muslims, have been killed in six years of unrest in the largely Muslim, rubber-rich region bordering Malaysia.

I think that Thailand is becoming more dangerous and tourist can be in harm. The government of Thailand should tdo something about it. The safety of other people depends on them.

NEWS GOOGLE! SOUTH EAST ASIA!

THAILAND - At least four luxury hotels located near the protest site at the Rajprasong intersection, and Silom area have confirmed they would be shutting operations for a short period even as the number of restaurants downing their shutters is increasing.
The four hotels account for 1,500 rooms and employ 2,000 people.
The general manager of Holiday Inn Bangkok and InterContinental Bangkok, Markus Platzer, expressed concern for the safety and security of hotel guests and employees.

I think its because of the rally in Thailand that the government think that it is safer to close the hotels down for the tourists' protection.

Define LOVE

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast., it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not selfseeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Love is when you miss him even before he leaves. When you could listen to him talk all night and never get tired of hearing his voice. When the sound of his name sends chills down your spine and you see him smile the second you close your eyes.

When I'm more older, and my little girl asks me who is my first love was.
I dont want to have to pull out the photo album. I want to be able to point across the room and say, "He is sitting right over there. "

DIALOGUE WRITING

EXCERCISE 2:

Jane's grandfather visited the family over the weekend. Jane is watching a Korean drama on TV in the living room, with her grandfather sitting beside her. Write a dialogue for a conversation between the teenage girl and her grandfather.

Grandfather: Why are all the boys' hair are so long, Jane?

Jane: Grandpa, it is the style nowadays with boys to have their hair long.

Grandfather: But why is that so, Jane?

Jane: Because boys will look more cute, Grandpa!

Grandfather: But in my days, boys should cut their hair as short as possible in order to look neat and tidy.

Jane: That was very long long time ago and sometimes boys look scary with their haircuts last time, Grandpa.

Grandfather: So boys make their hair longer to look cute in dramas, Jane?

Jane: Yes, Granpa.

Grandfather: Do I look cute now, Jane?

Jane: No grandpa, you look strict sometimes.

Grandfather: Then I should start growing my hair then?
